At Tom Warren’s Portrait Studio exhibition at ABC No Rio neighborhood residents could purchase photographic portraits for one dollar. The resulting exhibition of blow-up prints made from the Polaroid negatives showed the people of the Lower East Side as they wanted to be viewed.
