Dreva at 33 1/3. With searchlights sweeping the foggy sky outside Milwaukee’s Water Street Art Center, more than 500 guests cram inside the gallery for the opening night of Dreva’s first solo exhibition in Wisconsin. Pills, beer, blood and swear flow freely as local punks pogo to music by the Lubricants and Ruthless Acoustics. To commemorate the occasion Dreva publishes a 20 pages zine, Dreva and Friends, featuring photos of the artist with some of his friends, including Lou Reed, Alice Bag, R.J. Lambert and other stars.
