The xerox sheets are from a 1970 “body” work in which Acconci offers strangers “a gift,  a sample from my body, as an introduction and a token of my availability.”

For the person in the red scarf, he offers “fingernail clippings, middle finger left hand.”

For the person in the green sweater, he offers “saliva.”

These xerox sheets are 2005 copies from the originals.
