“In the Ansel Adams photo show at MoMA there is a rather beautiful screen (Yosemite, or something equally wild and wooly, but as I remember beautiful, & as you know I’m not a fan of his.  It might be a very interesting change of pace if you could pry it loose—a private collector as I recall.”

“How big will your new space be? Because if it’s 40′ x 60′ you could have built a plywood mockup of a really great piece of Tony Smith’s.”

“Did you see the ??? in the N.Y. Times the other day about the return in the East Village to minimalism away from expressionism…”
