Skullphone, Four SIGNED Holiday Ornaments and Postcard, 2007
Skullphone is an American artist who lives and works in Los Angeles and first gained notoriety as a street artist in 1999 with a wheatpasted black-and-white skull holding a cell phone. In 2010, Skullphone was one of the featured artists in Trespass: A History of Uncommissioned Art, a book by the Wooster Collective. In 2007, Skullphone created this set of holiday ornaments that were so successful that he created a second edition in 2017. These are the originals from the first edition.
