The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Tschinkel, Carlo McCormick, Jane Dickson and Gallery 98’s Marc H Miller, covering Tschinkel’s Robinson program as well as other modes of art documentation such as Curt Hoppe’s Downtown Portraits project, which is currently on display at Howl!.
Copies of the profusely illustrated 100-page catalogue for Curt Hoppe’s Downtown Portraits, published by Howl!, will be available for purchase during this Friday’s screening. Hoppe and the three essay authors — Robinson, McCormick, and Miller — will all be in attendance.
