This is one of the earliest of Jenny Holzer’s word pieces.  “Truisms” was originally posted on the streets of downtown New York and later sold in the shops that Colab organized in conjunction with their exhibitions and holiday stores.   Stamped on the botton right: “c 1978 Jenny Holzer.”
