Selection of postcards from among the many that Ai Weiwei published as part of the series At Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz. Each card is addressed to a political prisoner in jails throughout the world. Each card features a plant or bird from the country of the addressed political prisoner. Visitors to the exhibition At Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz were encouraged to take cards, write a message, and mail them to the prisoner.
