This image was created for the invitation to the after-opening party hosted by Leo Castelli at the Palladium on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition Roy Lichtenstein (November 23–December 21, 1985) at Leo Castelli Gallery, New York. The Palladium, which had opened a few months earlier in May 1985, was a celebrated nightclub until 1997.
