Clean Up Charlotte St. in the South Bronx, for the South Bronx People’s Convention Coalition, Flyer, 1980
The South Bronx people’s convention coalition called attention to the neglect of the South Bronx, at a time when the 1980 Democratic Convention was held in New York City.
The site was then reused by Ronald Reagan, who was then running against Jimmy Carter. All of this is documented in a flyer by John Fekner, which includes the wall-stencils he had previously created.
